tag, bryarlyHe didn't know if she was really expecting him, so, naturally, he decided it's about time to turn this into a game. Two more days till Thea's arrival and he was extremely bored; you'd think the last days of freedom on this island would be awesome beyond imagining, and yet this year everyone seemed to be delaying their arrival to the last. Jesus, yes, he was bored. When David wrote him a few weeks ago that his little sister – he remembered her quite well, but he never knew her that well – was coming to keep him company, or, well, to study here, he felt like a giant blast from the past coming his way. So, naturally, he decided to take her under his wing, so to speak. She was gonna have the time of her life and he's gonna make sure she loves this place as much as he does. Girlies would die of excitement if they'd get the same opportunity that Bryarly was handed, but somehow he doubted that this was what she wanted. Again, he didn't know her that well, but he did imagine this was gonna feel as a sort of pressure from her brother for her. Probably. Maybe. »Hey, kiddo,« he said as he recognised her wild dark hair, her pale face, her eyes covered in black make up. She got kinda hotter, in a really weird and messy way. He should have probably slept with her before he became great friends with Dave, that's what he should have done. Oh, well. »I'm here to escort you to your new sorority home, babe,« he said, making a few steps in her direction. »D'you want me to help you with your luggage?« |

tag, dylanShe wasn't a goody two shoes type of girl so it was no surprise when she actually missed the orientation week, that was supposed to be her saving branch in this new world she was moving into. New country, new friends, new everything, but yet she decided to stay at home a couple days longer and get as much information as possible out of David. He knew some people that went to Withmore's and she - more than anything - wanted to stay out of their way. Dragging her suitcase across the road she hoped the rest of her stuff would already be at her place by now, so she was in no hurry really. She could walk around the town for a bit, but as soon as she waved the old dude that gave her a lift away, her eyes caught him. Dylan. Of course, David told her he'd be here. He's also told her he would check on her every now and then, and she agreed just to please him, because she seriously didn't think someone as cool and supposedly busy as Dylan Cunningham would take time to look after her. "Oy, don't call me that," she hissed at him, pulling her set of belongings onto the sidewalk right beside him. Tall, blonde, skinny … just as she's remembered him. "I'm capable of doing that myself, you know that. No matter what David's said, he's a dick," she made sure he knew this whole arrangement thingy between him and her brother was now off the limits. God, she hated when everyone treated her like a fucking baby. "Anyways, it's good to see you." |

tag, bryarlyHe smiled at her; it took him half a second to realize she didn't really want him there.. and that was what the game was about, really. He didn't mean to be a dick, it was more like he had a personality flaw by which he wanted to prove every single girl that seemed like she doesn't want him in her way – wrong. They were all the same anyway, essentially. At the end of the day he could get any girl to want him, even a girl like her. She wasn't all that special, he just wanted to prove that again and again. »Right,« he nodded as she snapped at him, obviously she needed to feel more grown up.. or something? He'd play along, he could understand that. It was hard to feel independed when your brother managed to get you a babysitter. »Alright, I was just trying to play nice,« he shrugged when she, yet again, managed to show him how he wasn't all that usefull anyway. Alright, but he wasn't planning on leaving her there, he really hoped she knew that much. »Is it? You don't seem all that pleased, to be honest,« he smiled widely, his eyes filled with that cheerful note that was so typical for him. »I don't blame you,« he continued before she could give him a snappy come back, »I mean, I'd be a pissy bitch if someone sent me a body guard, too. I just thought you might appreciate someone that knows his way around. I know you like to party, you know I like to, too. I assumed we could party together.« His hand reached into his pocket, pulling out a near-to-perfectly rolled joint, and he pulled it between his thumb and middle finger, to straighten it out. »If you'd like. Or, you know, I can just pretend we don't share an interesting past and just leave you to your.. dragging your luggage around.« |

tag, dylanShe might have been this little girl when they first met, but she was far from that now. Still much younger, but definitely more responsible - or that's what she hoped and thought. She was well able to look after herself and make sure she doesn't get in trouble, except if it's willingly of course. And she had a feeling she'd have heaps of fun here. "Yeah, well no need to play nice around me, plus, I already have an older brother, definitely don't need another one," she added in a much nicer tone, but still very determined. "No problem, I know what Dave's capable off, but I seriously don't need a babysitter. If I wanted it, I would have stayed in Bath," she chuckled and then kind of snorted at the thought of it. It must have been mom who'd asked David to take care of this, to possibly find someone who could keep an eye on her baby girl, but that's the very least she needed now. "Oh, so now you're asking me out, I thought you were way out of my league." But how could she possibly say no to all the spliff he was offering. She loved parties, but more than that … she loved pissing her parents off and this would be a great way of doing so. Especially if Dave somehow finds out Dylan's completely failed at keeping her safe. "I didn't think you'd give in so quickly, but heck yes. I've been dreading this even seen I stepped a foot on that fucking plane." |

tag, bryarly»Well, I guess it's a good thing, then,« he said with a wide smile on his face, »that I have no intention whatsoever to be your new brother.« Not really, no. He wasn't all that good at keeping an eye on people, or – rather – he understood the 'keeping an eye' a lot differently than other people did. For them, it was about keeping the kiddos safe and out of harm's way, for him, it was getting them to have as much fun as possible; and, if possible, to enjoy his company and the company of his mates. »I think you'll realize quite soon that I'm nothing close to a babysitter. I actually think you'll end up rather enjoying my company and telling me you've seriously underastimated me.« He shrugged cheerfully, pretty convinced that was going to be the case quite soon. She didn't stand a chance, sooner or later she's gonna like him just like everyone else does. He could play her game, he could adapt.. he was good at it. »Oh, come on, Bryarly,« he immediately replied in a patronizing tone, »Don't flatter yourself. I'm asking you to share a smoke, it's not the same thing.« He smiled again, perhaps just to not piss her off extremely, perhaps because he himself knew that in a different scenario, he probably would have asked her out. The girl was a bowl of problems, he knew as much, but it wasn't as if he'd ask her to marry him any time soon. God, no. »Oh, shut up,« he giggled a little, shaking his head. »Come on,« he then demanded as he grabbed the handle of the suitcase before she could find a way to stop him; he started walking down the street, in the direction of the bench about twenty feet away. He knew she'd follow him, if nothing else, he kidnapped her stuff. |
