001. no, pa začnimo s popolnoma formalnimi zadevami. tvoje polno ime je? she smiles solemnly and crosses her legs before answering: "josephine violet emery."
002. in za kaj si prišel/šla na ta otok? kaj študiraš? her smile grows bigger, but it does not reach her pale blue eyes. "what do you think, why am i here?" it is a question, however she doesn't expect an answer, so she gives it herself: "withmore is just one of the stations on my way to the top, and a pretty amazing one, too. i study law."
003. pa meniš, da si zasluženo tukaj? je imel pri tem prste tudi kdo drug? she suddenly straightens up and holds her head high on a long, thin neck. she is pure power, she leaks it all over. "i am an emery. i could get anywhere i could possibly want to in a blink of an eye."
004. imaš kakšen hobi? kaj rad/a počneš? "i like to think," she says after a moment or two of silence and a slight hesitation could be heard in her voice if you listened very carefully. she's not sure, not as sure as she should've been.
005. si levičar/ka ali desničar/ka? she looks at her long, slender fingers with appreciation. "i use both hands almost equally."
006. kaj je prva stvar, ki jo narediš takrat, ko prideš domov? "i wash my hands," she shrugs, as if it was obvious she does that. and it is, in fact, a very meaningful sentence, if only you understand it fully.
007. če bi stopili v tvojo sobo, kaj bi bilo na tvoji nočni omarici? ali pa košu za smeti? the corners of her mouth curve down just a tiny little bit, but her look remains focused as she pretends to think. "well, my night stand is usually covered in various books and an alarm clock, although i don't use it very often. as for the dustbin, it's filled with irrelevant stuff like used tissues and wrinkled paper."
008. katere so bile zadnje osebe, s katerimi si opravil/a mobilni pogovor? recimo, naj jih bo 5. a frown appears on her sophisticated face, she's trying to remember something - and then, nothing more than a few seconds later, her features relax. "mother and father. they called me like, five times each." subconsciously, her hands smooth down the perfectly fitting jeans.
009. kakšna bi bila tvoja reakcija ob spoznanju, da je tvoje letalo prisiljeno pristati zaradi okvare? she stirs in her seat and rolls her eyes at the question, but answers anyway: "i would be mad."
010. se bojiš žuželk? "i do not fear them, they are actually fascinating." there is a certain spark in her pale eyes, a sort of twisted pleasure only she knows about. but it's gone as fast as it appeared.
011. imaš svojo boljšo polovico? "love is for the weak," she states with a confident smile and means it.
012. kaj pa tvoja družina? ste med seboj povezani? she, again, straightens up even more and there is a peculiar cold in her look. "i am an emery and i am thankful for everything my family has given me. we are as connected as we can be, even with my older brother who acts very irresponsibly. i am josephine, just like my mother, and i am content with it."
013. ob odraščanju, predvidevam, da je bilo v vaši kuhinji kup različnih vonjev. katerih treh se najbolje spominjaš? she raises her eyebrows because josephine is as far from a sentimental person as it gets. "i remember the smell of leather and velvet, that is all."
014. je kozarec napol poln ali napol prazen? "technically it's always full," she says with a small smile.
015. če bi se lahko spremenil/a v žival, katera bi to bila? now, she does not need to think about it because she already knows the answer: "i'd be a lioness."
016. katerega od naštetih prostorov imaš najraje: obalo, notranjost svoje sobe, šolske predavalnice, ali kaj drugega? "i like my room," she starts off, but there's a pause after that; she ponders what to say and what not to say. soon, the wish to stay quiet prevails.
017. ali verjameš v nebesna znamenja? "no." she actually thinks it's bullshit, but her mother taught her swearing is not what ladies do.
018. kaj v svojem življenju najbolj obžaluješ? "there is nothing i could regret," she answers calmly. it is a lie, because some things are always eating her in the back of her head, but she ignores them. they are irrelevant.
019. kdo je bil/a oseba, s katero si doživel/a prvi poljub? izgubo nedolžnosti? her lips are clasped in a thin line as the unwanted memories flood her mind. "it's none of your business." her voice is stern and cold and bitter.
020. v kakšnem kostumu bi se prikazal/a na zabavi za noč čarovnic? "i wouldn't go." there's still that coldness in her voice, but really, it probably never even leaves.
021. kaj je bilo na meniju tvojega zadnjega kosila? "i don't remember exactly," she brushes it off, because she had no lunch yesterday, nor the day before - it's hard to remember when did she had her last proper meal.
022. čaj ali kava? "both." she answers without hesitation and can't help but think how much a black tea would agree with her right now.
023. ali v kaj verjameš? v boga? karkoli drugega? "i believe in myself and my own achievements," she speaks sharply, almost reeking self-reliance.
024. kakšno zvrst glasbe najraje poslušaš? "i like calm stuff that relaxes me," she answers, frowning a bit. she doesn't even listen to music that much.
025. kaj bi te najlažje spravilo v jok? her smile widens obnoxiously. "i never cry."
026. če bi te prijatelji morali opisati v petih besedah, katere bi to bile? her dictionary does not contain the word 'friend', nor does she believe there is such thing. "i don't do friends," she simply says and smiles.
027. opiši mi tvoje sanje, tvoja pričakovanja? "oh, that's easy. i want to be on the top of the world and since i'm an emery, i will succeed."
