tag, hazelHe creeped up behind her – he spotted her in the distance, a few moments ago, dismissing the fair lady he was speaking to as if she was last year's snow, grabbing out for the attention of the cute little brunette he first met on the plane –, his palms slipping over her shoulders and up her neck, feeling the touch of her soft hair. »Well look who I found,« he softly breathed into her hair, standing way too close to her for the nature of their relatonship. They literally just met a few days ago, but as he did in most things in life, he simply assumed it was fine to do things the way he wanted to, always, forever. He was on top of the world, the king above all the peasants. They were here for his entertainment, for that alone. Catching her eye, he smiled widely; the fire about ten feet away threw a sort of beautiful play of shadow and light over her beautiful skin. »I was hoping I'd find you here,« he honestly told her, winking with a sort of charm he had reserved for a special type of someone. The type Hazel was, the type that he felt would sooner or later fall for it. And then he'd crush her, as he did so many times before and will do yet again and again. Oh, she was far to beautiful to be broken – and that was the beauty of it at the same time. »Are you alone?« He didn't need to look around, he didn't care for the answer, honestly, he wanted her for himself and that was what he was going to get; no matter what. She couldn't resist him, he would make sure of it. |

bonfire was so beautiful – she honestly couldn’t take her eyes off it, even though that was probably weird, but she didn’t care. she enjoyed such things in her life and she felt just perfect, standing few feet away from the fire that was making her feel all warm and cozy and she liked that. she didn’t even mind that she was outside, surrounded by lots of different people – different strangers – because after all, she was enjoying herself. she felt a touch on her skin and her body stiffened for a second before she recognized the voice and felt relieved in matter of seconds. ”nico, you shouldn’t sneak up on me like that,” she said, even though her voice wasn’t angry at all. she was quite fond of him: he was a first person she somehow met when she came here and he was funny, talkative and amazing. also, he made her laugh, which was a huge plus for him. she moved just one step away from him, because she didn’t like people being that close; even though she did return the charming smile. yeah, he was a good guy. ”I’m all alone,” she replied to his words and pushed her hair away, because it was annoyingly getting in front of her eyes. ”I was observing the bonfire,” she explained and pulled him further so he could see it as well; ”it is beautiful, don’t you think?” she said, clearly impressed with what she saw. |

tag, hazel»I'm sorry, did I frighten you?« he raised his eyebrows sharply, but the smug smile on his lips remained. Even if she'd reply affirmatively, he'd feel no remorse. He didn't do anything wrong, she was such a beautiful girl; yes, he did want to get his hands on her, on as much of her as possible, but yet again he didn't want to rush his intentions to extremes, knowing she was quite the fragile thing that might run away after realizing all his indecent intentions. »Well, that's not right,« he said with yet another grin lurking on his lips, »A pretty girl like you should never be lonely.« He wondered, quite often, actually, if she thought all of this, these flirtatious lines, the eager looks he sent her way – if she thought it was all a joke, another side to his charming ability to make her laugh. He wondered if she was really eating out of his hands, or did she know somewhere inside that things could.. possibly go badly? »Yes, it's quite something,« he replied vaguely, he wasn't half as mesmerised as she was. It was big, the flames raising to the heavens as if hell opened loose to devour the earth. It ha dan appeal to it, he could suppose, but he was far more interested in observing something else – someone else, her, of course. His hand stretched out, smoothly removing a beam of her long dark curls from her forehead, the little few she didn't get rid of with the gesture of her hand. »There we go,« he said, a thin smile on his lips again. »Have you been here long?« he continued to use the all mighty weapon of small talk, to set the field, to make her feel comfortable in his presence, to later perhaps suggest something outrageous, if she wasn't prepared for it. |

she had to smile. “well, of course you frightened me,” she said. he would probably frighten anyone if he would sneak up on them like that; it was not something hazel would like or enjoy, but it was nico and he was her friend – at least she considered him as something like that, he was, after all, close enough to being her friend, but anyway, she wasn’t upset about that or anything. besides, she could get used to that by now. nico was unpredictable and a bit wild, but he was overall a great person. she raised her eyebrows a little as he spoke again and then gently shook her head. “nico, I am not lonely. you do realize there is a difference between being alone and being lonely?” she said, a bit bothered because everyone seemed to think that those were the same things, even though they absolutely weren’t. her eyes were on the bonfire and she decided not to care that much for the fact that he obviously wasn’t as excited about it as she was. his eyes were on her – she could feel it, even though she looked at him when he moved her hair and he touched her skin. it was a bit weird feeling; she let it go and smiled. “thank you,” she said; her hair was really annoying her sometimes and it was quite a nice gesture from him, right? “no,” she replied, “not really. I actually just came here and I didn’t even intend to stay long,” she shrugged, her voice gentle. “but it was really nice to see you here, nico.” yeah, she should probably go and her words sounded a bit like farewell, even though she wasn’t quite sure if she should leave just yet. |

tag, hazel»Oh,« his lips formed a half smile, »That wasn't my intention.« Not really, anyway, but still there was no remorse what so ever in the tone of his voice. »I didn't mean anything by it, darling,« he shook his head almost immediately, trying to show her that his words were just a figure of speech, really, not a meaningful observation. Oh, he truly disliked when people tried to inform him of his misuse of english language. He, himself, was indeed half english, but it was true he didn't speak it nearly as good as he did when it came to german or even french language. He understood the difference she pointed out, of course, but he didn't find it nearly as important as she did. »Oh?« His eyebrows raised, he could feel a quick farewell in her tone that he didn't really like. Perhaps he could make sure she stays, huh? He was quite sure he did have the means to do so. »But surely you're not leaving just yet?« Although posed as a question, it was an obvious demand. He wanted her to stay, he wanted her to.. give him the time of day. She seemed somehow bothered by everything he let himself do – the interaction with her in the too-deep-into-personal-space level – but he didn't intend to stop just yet. »I have something,« he leaned in a bit closer, his tone a bit lower, »Something that will make the fire shine brighter and more beautiful than you could ever imagine.« He smiled mysteriously, his hand reaching into his pocket, he could feel the plastic bag under his fingertips. |

she smiled at him – it was one of those lovely smiles she used around people that made her feel comfortable. well, to be honest, she wasn’t all that comfortable around him yet, but by now he seemed familiar and she knew him enough that she could call him her friend, even though sometimes she questioned that. it was something in his eyes – not always, but she could see it sometimes and it made him seem like a stranger; like someone she didn’t know at all. as usual, she tried to shake that feeling off. “I’m sorry, was that annoying? I didn’t mean it as anything bad, you know,” her lips formed a tiny smile, even though it was obvious she meant it. his next question didn’t seem as much as a question; she looked him in the eyes and shrugged. “well, I guess I could stay for a few more moments.” after all, she always liked spending time with him. she liked him somehow; he was everything she wasn’t and she was honestly fascinated by him as a person. besides, she really liked his accent. she looked at him with surprise in her eyes as he went on talking. “what?” she was clearly confused now; she titled her head to the side and looked at him. she giggled all of a sudden. “okay, nico, what are you up to now?” she was intrigued. did he have a sort of chemical for fire? he did confuse her, yes, but he also fire a spark of interest in her eyes. |

tag, hazel»That makes two of us, doesn't it,« he posed a rhetorical question, quickly followed by his next words and a shake of his head, »Forget about it, you're the least annoying person I've probably met in my life.« She was actually one of the cutest, but he didn't care much for annoyance. He might have been an extremely unpleasant person himself, and he never really was displeased with other people, he couldn't be, he picked them out quite well, winning them over quite successfully. His ego was the thing that always overpowered other possibly annoying sounds around him. »I'd like that,« he said, a soft smile on his cheeks. Yes, yes he would, he would like her company, he'd like a whole lot more, but he was quite certain that the white powder in his pocket might do a better job than he could ever. He could see how he had peaked her interest enough well for a spark of excitement to appear in her eyes. He stepped even closer, this was going to be their little thing, their little secret, perhaps. He'd gladly spend quality time on drugs with her, he could imagine her fair eyes open wide, the look of complete detachment from the world, a sort of alienation, perhaps. He imagined she had never done this sort of thing before, and as he pulled out the small plastic bag, his eyes found hers again. He wondered if she'd recognise the white substance in an instant – or would she, perhaps, think of everything else before realizing what he's offering? »Have you ever done cocaine?« he asked in a small voice. |

she smiled at him. nico was an amazing person, even though she didn’t quite get him always. he was friendly enough, tho. she somehow easily got rid of her usual nervousness of people and also her fears, so she was pretty much normal around him. maybe that was one of the reasons she liked him. he was brutally honest and at the same time incredibly charming, so it was all good. “why thank you,” she responded to his words which she decided to take as a compliment. she always tried her best not to be annoying or nosy or anything – she probably didn’t possess any of the traits people usually hated. and she was absolutely glad because of it. she nodded her head yes. “besides, I didn’t talk with you in ages. we could do a bit of… you know, catching up,” she smiled. he rarely talked about his life, but she didn’t really mind because she was getting quite good at small talking with him. she carefully followed his every movement with her eyes; this time really interested in what he had and why was there that special, tiny smile on his face that she has never seen before. of course she was curious – but then her excitement changed into something completely else; she could almost feel the smile freezing on her face as she grasped the concept of his suggestion. “cocaine?” she slowly repeated and then all of a sudden she slapped him before even realizing that her hand moved and left a mark on his check. “what the hell is wrong with you, nico?” her voice was sharp this time. “I thought you were amazing. I thought you were something else, but you are just the same as every rich kid on this island,” she subconsciously made a step away from him. everything made sense now. he was so far from what she thought he was that the difference clearly shocked her and she bit her lip. “get away from me,” she said, her words much colder now. |

tag, hazellol i'm sorry, ta post ma verjetno en miljon pravopisnih napak, i'm totes not in the zone today, ampak si pa ful želim ta pogovor končat, don't hate me pls <3 He could see the sharp tension forming on her face, in her eyes, but he did not expect of her to react so dramatically. He could feel a sting of pain on his cheek where her hand probably left a red mark after she slapped him uncontrollably. He almost let go of the bag, so he clutched his hand, squeezing the plastic in between his fingers. »Wh–« was all he could say before words just started shooting from her pretty little lips; she was angry with him, for what, he did not understand. It wasn't as if he was trying to force something on her, he simply suggested. She didn't need to do anything, hej ust thought a little fun wouldn't do her any harm. She seemed like a completely different person now, he never before saw that spark of pure anger behind her wide eyes. »What the fuck was that all about?« he raised his eyebrows sharply, he had a bit of anger in his tone as well. He did not enjoy being treated like that, no way, he felt like this small little girl was doing the same thing his father did when he realized his son was doing drugs. The slap and everything; it all kind of came back and for a person with a short temper – which he, clearly, was – it wasn't the best thing. Not at that moment, that's for sure. Snorting cocaine didn't do any good, either; he was somewhat glad he didn't do any today, yet, he would hate himself the next day if he had left a mark on her face, too, by returning the slap. »Oh, come on, Jesus Christ, Hazel, why are you being such a momma's girl?« He did not intend to hurt her – physically – but he definately did not mean to let her get away with her offence. Not that easily. »What, now I'm a dickhead, simply because I do something you don't like?« He rolled his eyes. »You're not exactly the most interesting fucking person I've ever met, I just thought you'd like a little cheer-me-up.« |

she was completely shaken up. she never expected him to be like that; she was always too naïve about people and she always trusted them way too early and way too much. she just needed a smile from a person and she was convinced they were actually good people. but he wasn’t. the person she almost adored turned out to be… someone completely else. his question was sharp and she was angry enough not to care. it was supposed to be a nice, lovely evening. it was everything but that. “nico, don’t even go there,” was her voice sharp when he commented her being a ‘momma’s girl’. she would probably be hurt by those words any other day; but not today, this was too much of a surprise for her to even care and she rejected his words with cold smile. “you have no idea who I am,” she threw words in his face. he clearly didn’t - otherwise he wouldn’t be offering her cocaine. “don’t even bother, nico. I know your type. I mean, I didn’t realize you were that type, but I do. you can try as hard as you can, but you can’t hurt me. yes, you know what? you are a dickhead. was that the plan all along? get me high and do… do what with me?” there was something dark in her eyes. “I thought you were a nice person.” clearly, she was wrong. |

tag, hazel»I don't?« He must have been a completely different person, unlike anything she had seen with him. Of course he turned cold instantly, how could he not, she seemed to think he was her little doll, the kind she could boss around, slap whenever she'd feel the need. He wasn't going to let anyone treat him like that, he wasn't just anyone. He wasn't a random kid, this much she needed to understand. He was a fucking god and if she thought different, she was mistaken. »You're just a silly little naive girl,« he replied sharply, letting him know he did understand her. She wasn't some complicated riddle, she was out in the open about everything she was. Did she really think she was, what, special? In what way? She looked, talked, acted like any other girl in campus. The only thing that was a bit different was that she was one of those for who he'd really go out of his way if it meant getting some quality alone time with her. That was all blown to hell now, obviously, but it didn't matter. He didn't give a shit about her nice girl routine. »You know my type?« He was mocking her now, she sounded completely ridiculous. »Quite obviously you have no idea of what type of person you're dealing with.« He didn't mean for it to sound like one, but it hung in the air almost like a threat. »Well, what do you think?« He took a step towards her, completely aware of the fact that she wanted him gone, or at least as far away as possible. »What could I possibly want with you, anyway?« He'd screw her brains out, they'd depart in a friendly manner, everything would have been fun if she wasn't such a pathetic little mary sue. »Well, joke's on you, then, sweetheart,« he added in an almost too strict tone, feeling like one of his favourite toys got spoiled. Whatever, he'll get a new one. |

she honestly couldn’t remember the last time she was that upset. he turned her world upside down – at least for few moments, but that was enough for her to lose the ground she was standing on and it always made her a somehow different person. more open; more honest and also much, much more angry. “yeah, I might be a silly little girl, but I am probably not as naïve as you thought I would be,” she said, looking him in the eyes. what was she even trying to do? put some sense in him? was it even worth it? she somehow refused to believe that he was a lost cause, but what else could she do? yes, she knew his type. she knew his type of people; the type who was always out partying, the type who enjoyed manipulating other people and who loved getting what they wanted and once that happened, they pushed people away or did something horrible to them just to make sure they will never return. “stop,” she warned him as he took another step towards her. she didn’t handle that well; she didn’t handle other people being that close when she wanted them as far away as possible. “I am not your doll, nico.” she wasn’t some sort of a doll. “you probably wanted to… I don’t know, where do you get your kick? when you get someone in bed? when you get them high and make them do everything you want? when you eventually destroy them?” her words were firm and her tone was almost as strict as his. “you know, I actually liked you. do you always do that to people? do you ever let anyone close or are we all just figures on your chessboard?” |
